In 1981 Ronald’s sons Franklyn and David assumed ownership of the company, which they renamed Murphy Brothers Limited. Before entering the management side of the business, they worked in all positions within the company including as boom truck operators, truck drivers, bus drivers and mechanical duties.
Murphy Brothers is now a third-generation family-owned business. David’s son Ethan Murphy received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick in 1999 and has been involved with the company full-time ever since.
David’s youngest son Daniel Murphy joined the company after he returned home from Halifax in 2008 where he earned his Journeyman Red Seal Welding Certificate from Nova Scotia Community College.
Murphy Brothers has succeeded for over 40 years, and it continues to operate on the same philosophies that started the company back in 1936. We’ve always provided the best possible service to all our customers and we’re constantly looking for new business ventures to explore.
